It takes a village and the entire population of Nassau & Suffolk Counties to keep horse trails and barns from being closed and zoned away. It takes everyone to foster an interest in riding, carriage driving, equine sports,, youth activities involving horses and just plain constant vigilance against change detrimental to open space and access by horses.
